Aaron Firdaus Campbell is here in Malaysia

Aaron who is now almost 8 month-old weighing around 10.5 kg. That's pretty heavy for such a young baby. His energy is unexpectedly strong. If you have to hold him like Hubby did in the above picture, you have to be alert most of the time. He might lunged forward all in a sudden without you expecting it.

All family members spoke to him in Bahasa Malaysia as we would like him to be exposed to his mummy's mother tongue. So far, I guess he understood our gestures and chit chat.

Urgghhh...u r sooooo heavy

This picture was taken right before he was put in his 'buaian'....we made a ceremony for him....in Perak we call it 'Majlis Tarik Buai' which is totally different with Terengganu's 'Majlis cukur pala a.k.a Majlis Cukur Kepala.' Different name but the same old tradition.

Say KAKI!!

We are cousins

The ceremony went well, alhamdulillah. Poor Aaron, he was all dressed up in a cute Baju Melayu but later he ended up wearing nothing other than his diaper due to hot weather.

I had to hold a small fan to cool him off

Aaron was all smiling at Opah

 Aaron and his mummy

Welcome to Malaysia Aaron!! I believe there would be days in the future when you are much older, you would find it more interesting and happening to be back to your mummy's motherland.

P/S: If you are reading this entry Uncle Mike, we can't wait to meet you in person next year!! If god willing!

Looking Forward

It is finally here!! The opportunity for me to be once again a career woman. How I miss meeting up new faces and lecturing non-stop. Hope luck is on my side tomorrow. Wish that the interview will go well and I'd get the job. God Willing. Pray for my success peeps!!

An armed Engineer

We were at one of the mini markets in town to grab some groceries. As usual, the top item in our list is none other than the chicken meats. Due to short of workers, Hubby had to chop the meats himself. He did it very carefully or rather should I say slowly? hehe...other customers who had the same intention to purchase such item waited anxiously and patiently in line. The funniest part was when there were a few who placed their orders on him, assuming that he was one of the workers. I broke into a laughter the moment Hubby showed a blank face at those people who asked. Judging by the look (see the pictures),he was so into the chopping process that he was not even aware that I was standing a few feet away from him snapping some shots.

One word for you Hubby....ZEXY!!!

Ladies Day Out

It has been a long time since I last went out with my girlfriends. So yesterday, I had the opportunity when one of the girls came over to my house and we had a girl talk over things that had happened in our lives after both of us are entittled Mrs. Subjects of our interests are no longer lay on fashion, jewelleries, books or even shoes. What then?? Well, our focal interest is on our significant others a.k.a husbands. A hard to believe transition yet it is as expected when we are no longer 'a girl not yet a woman' individuals. I am not saying that I am totally over the stuff mentioned earlier but they are no longer at the top of my list.

The day later was spent with our short trip to Romantika Home Decor Outlet in Paka itself. She bought a lot of things and I did the same too. Knowing that there are lots of home decorations that I'd probbaly like, before I stepped into the place, I'd reminded myself not to become a spendthrift. Yeah, you heard me right. I was once a shopaholic. Enough said. :) p One of the items that I bought is the cute sign read "If mama ain't happy....ain't nodoby happy!" and "If papa ain't happy....  ain't nobody cares!"

Upon seeing this particular item, Hubby laughed sarcastically at me, showing his unpleasant and annoyed look. Haha..Really can't help it!
